Tour D' TO (Tour of one Thousand Obstructions)
From the shop go North (left) on Kanan over the freeway to a left on Thousand Oaks Blvd. Roll along Thousand Oaks Blvd all the way to a right on Erbes. After a rolling REGROUP at the swell in the road just after Hillcrest proceed north through Thousand Oaks to a left turn on Pederson. After blasting down Pederson (with due regard for the oversized drain covers) and making a left on Olsen, ride through the beautiful California Lutheran University campus eventually making a left turn on Avenida De Las Flores. Shortly after passing Thousand Oaks High School make a right turn on Moorpark Road, exercise CAUTION as the width of the bike lane varies greatly over the next mile or so. After descending a slight grade and passing Whole Foods Market you will enter the commercial stretch of Thousand Oaks. Shortly after passing under the freeway make a left turn onto Rolling Oaks Drive, Keep an eye out for the hung-over hypnagogic drivers just leaving Borderline after a long hard night of line dancing and liquor drinking. Just after the crest of this hill turn left to go through the office building parking lot and onto the new frontage road. Follow the new frontage road to a left on Rancho under the freeway and a right on Hillcrest. After taking Hillcrest to a left on Westlake, ride up the southern slope of Westlake Blvd and make a right turn onto Kanan after the two small hills make a right turn onto Lindero which you will follow down to a left on Thousand Oaks Blvd. From here you will re-trace your steps back along Thousand Oaks Blvd and making a right turn on Kanan back to the shop to breakfast on caffeine and sugary pastries.
