Saturday Short Rides
The Short Ride is generally 25 to 35mi., about 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours. While the Short Ride is an intermediate ride, it is by no means flat. However, it doesn't have the same level of vertical torture as the long ride. Average speeds for the Short Ride are typical for reasonably fit, serious recreational riders but there are designated regrouping stops for the rides which are announced before the ride start, in the ride description e-mail and on this Web site.
