Rockstore / Latigo / Decker
Approx. 3 hours 15 min, 45 miles, 5100 vertical feet of climbing
From Sundance, right onto Kanan and an easy paced climb up and over to
a left on Sierra Creek (no, not Troutdale). Right on Mullholland and up
Rockstore and REGROUP at the top. Left on
Kanan and left again on Latigo. Up, down, up and finally down Latigo CAREFULLY
to the PCH. Turn around and head back up Latigo and REGROUP
at the first (false) summit. Continue down then up and down Latigo to Kanan.
This is a real tricky section so CAUTION is
advised. Cross Kanan and take the sandy road to Mulholland, left on Mulholland,
left again on Encinal, right on Lechusa and REGROUP
at Decker. Decker down to Westlake, CAREFULLY
and REGROUP at the bottom of Decker at Carlisle
Cyn Rd on the right. Westlake Blvd to Triunfo, right and around the lake,
left on Lindero to a right on Agoura Rd and back to Sundance. If you want
a shorter ride, after the Latigo climb, turn right onto Kanan and right
again onto Mulholland head back down Mulholland to Sierra Creek and back
track up over Kanan back to Sundance.
